One Arrested on Drug Charges in Eustace

Henderson County narcotic officers have had an ongoing investigation of narcotic trafficking at 103 Smith Street in Eustace. On Thursday, Nov. 13, Henderson County Narcotic Investigator Kendell Wellman received probable cause for a search warrant on Terri Nicole Hawkins at her residence in Eustace. A probable cause affidavit was submitted to Judge Milton Adams. Judge Adams did find enough probable cause existed and issued a search warrant for this residence.

HCSO Chief Deputy Hillhouse, Captain Bryan Tower, Lieutenant David Faught, Investigators Wellman, Wick Gabbard, Kyle Pochobradsky, Brad Beddingfield, Deputy Keon Mack and Eustace PD Officer Shavar Warren executed the search warrant.

Upon executing of the search warrant, Hawkins was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, paraphernalia used for packaging and sales, and a quantity of suspected marijuana.

Hawkins was arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 over 4 grams less than 200 grams which is a first degree felony and possession of marijuana under two ounces which is a class B misdemeanor. Hawkins was transported to the Henderson County Jail.

Henderson County Justice of the Peace Randy Daniel arraigned Hawkins and her bond was set at a total of $11,000. Hawkins was still in custody at the time of this press release.
