Virginia Marie Reynolds passed away on July 18, 2018 in Athens Texas. She was born on January 6, 1922 to Andrew Jasper White and Nancy Dennis White.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Wesley Reynolds; one son, Larry Wayne Reynolds; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Marie and her husband John Wesley were married for 49 years before his passing. She was a loving and dedicated wife, truly a Proverbs 31 Woman. She loved her children and grandchildren with all she had. She loved her church home and church family. She was currently a member of Central Church of Christ in Athens. Marie loved to cook and was always ready to cook a meal or pie for someone who needed it. She was a part of a pie ministry at Eastern Hills Church of Christ.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, John Mark Reynolds and wife Cassie; her daughter, Barbara Ann Satcher and husband James; her sister, Laura Jo Baisdon; her brother-in-law, Kenneth Reynolds and wife Carol; her sister-in-law, Coleen Flint; her grandchildren, Stephane Satcher, Melanie McGuiggan and husband Stewart, Levi Reynolds and wife Joby, Chelsea Williams and husband Joseph, and Will Reynolds; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to invite you to a visitation on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Central Church of Christ in Athens, with Steve Handley officiating. Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens.
