4011368Memorial Mass for Pauline M. Moiseve, age 85 will be held Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Athens, Texas, with Father Nolan T. Lowry and Dr. Kyle Henderson officiating.

Pauline Marie Langlais was born Nov. 27, 1930 in Charny Canada. Pauline is the daughter of Willie & Bernadette Langlais, the last child in a family of eight children. She immigrated to the United States in 1954, following her calling of being a Registered Nurse.

She married Walter J. Moiseve, son of Russian immigrants, in Santa Ana California in 1956. They originally lived in Fullerton California then moved to Yorba Linda California, where they raised their two children Mathew and Monette. Later Walter and Pauline moved to San Clemente, building their dream home, where they enjoyed their retirement years. Eventually Walter and Pauline moved to Tyler, Texas to be closer to their daughter and live at The Hamptons Retirement Community. She spent her final months at the home of her loving daughter under the care of Hospice of East Texas and her devoted caregivers, Julie, Penny, and Shelley.

Pauline was a Registered Nurse maintaining her license until 1992. She was an energetic and passionate person who loved to serve others and never met a stranger. Pauline had an infectious giggle, everywhere you went with her around San Clemente people knew her. In addition to loving everyone in her life, she had a special love of animals, often feeding her neighbors cats that became her own. She was a caring mother, and wife and will be missed by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Walter, and their first-born son William, her parents, and her siblings.

She is survived by her two children, son Mathew and his loving wife Nancy of San Diego, Calif., and daughter Monette Taylor of Athens, Texas and five grandchildren; Tommy, Jeffrey, Gregory, Alyssa, and Kayleigh. As well as leaving her family, she leaves behind countless caregivers at The Hamptons at Pine Forest that loved her, laughed with her, and cared for her. Our mom had a special love for Wanda one of her caregivers that became of part of our family. Joining her family at her bedside at time of her death was Juleimy Prieto and Penny Baker, who cared for and loved our Mom dearly.

Visitation will be held at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Thursday Feb. 11, 2016 from 6-7 p.m. with a Rosary starting at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to Hospice of East Texas in memory of Pauline Moiseve, 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, TX 75701.
