Margie Green went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. She was born to William and Sally Gilfoy in Payne Springs, Texas on July 1, 1924.
Margie was a hairdresser for many years owning her own shop. She loved children and taught them in Sunday School and Training Union for over 30 years. She loved the Lord and worshipped him with her songs and playing her harmonica at church and for her friends and family. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Eustace, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her 2 sisters and a brother; and her granddaughter Lauren Pitts.
She is survived by her son, Michael White of Eustace; daughter Andrea Pitts and her husband Larry of Whitehouse, Texas; Two grandsons, Tim Pitts and Stephen Pitts; four great-grandchildren, Kyla, Hallie, Jeremy and Peyton Pitts.
The family would like to invite you to a visitation to be held at noon on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home with Funeral services to follow at 1 p.m., with Tim Howard officiating burial will follow at Tool Cemetery, Tool, Texas. Autrys Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
