Funeral services for Margaret Thompson, 74, of Malakoff are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at the Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malakoff with Bro. Michael Bacon officiating.
Mrs. Thompson passed away on August 21, 2014 in Malakoff, Texas.
Margaret was born on April 17, 1940 in Baxter, Texas to Burl Jackson Tiner and Dorothy Mae Gandy Tiner.
She is preceded in death by her parents Burl and Dorothy Mae Tiner, son Johnny Thompson, and brothers Kenneth Tiner and David Tiner.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Leonard Thompson, daughter Margaret White, and son Jackie Lee Thompson and Kathleen, sister Christine Bearden, and two grandchildren Robert Bryan Filidei, and Mariann N. Filidei.
The family will visit with family and friends on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Malakoff Cemetery.
