Malcolm Lee Tidrow passed away on December 26, 2017 in Athens, Texas. He was born on August 4, 1938, in Dallas Texas to Leroy O’neal Tidrow and Mildred June Tunner Tidrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents; His wife, Pat Tidrow; and his sister, Robin Gwynn.
Mr. Tidrow served his country in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960. He worked for several beverage distribution centers for many years. After retirement, he worked and dedicated his time to Meals on Wheels and drove the van for South Place Nursing home in Athens. He loved and adored his family and will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Survivors include his son Brian Tidrow; daughter, Rebecca Terry and husband Tim; step children, Steve Small, Derek Small, Cheryl Small, and Chris Small; brother, Van Tidrow; sister Kyle Frick; grandchildren, Christina Brock, Jackson Small, Tyler Gould and Samantha Terry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Meals on Wheels of Athens. 3344 TX 31 Athens, Texas 75752.
The family would like to invite you to attend the visitation on Friday, December 29, 2017, at 9 a.m. at Autry’s Carroll- Lehr Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Cameron, Texas at Oakhill Cemetery. Arrangements by Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
