Lynda Jean Stanton age 76 of Trinidad, TX passed away peacefully in Trinidad, TX on December 30, 2017.
Lynda was born January 28, 1941 in Athens, TX to Archie Fellrath and Lucile McDonald Fellrath Banks. She proudly served our military as an Army Specialist.
She met the love of her life Leo Dave Stanton and the two were married on January 4, 1963 at Fort Myer, VA. After retiring from the military in 1978, Leo and Linda moved to Trinidad.
She had a special love for her family and the holidays. It was her joy to see everyone home and Christmas paper flying and love and laughter flowing.
Lynda is preceded in death by her parents Archie and Lucile, and a brother Johnny Fellrath.
She is survived by her loving husband Leo Stanton, daughter Diana Lyn Stanton Penzien and husband Timothy Leroy, son Leo Dave Stanton Jr. and wife Linda Marie, son James Earl Stanton and wife Cindy, son Louis Paul Stanton and wife Jennifer Gotcher Stanton, sister Elizabeth Mary “Beth” Parker, thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial service is planned for Friday January 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Trinidad, TX with Rev. Chris Mathis officiating.
