Obituary: Linda Marie Pogue Quattlebaum

quattlebaumlindaphotoFuneral services for Linda Marie Pogue Quattlebaum, 63 of Malakoff are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Hilltop Christian Fellowship Center with Jeff Quattlebaum and Tommy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Linda passed away July 26, 2015 in Athens.

She was born January 26, 1952 in Dallas to Eddie Lee Pogue, Sr. and Betty Jean Campbell Pogue. Linda loved shopping, crafts, decorating, antiquing and traveling. She was the best Nanny any child could ever have in this world.

She is preceded in death by her father and personal friend Bernie Black.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years James Quattlebaum; daughters Lisa Marie Sharp and husband Dirk, Lori Lynn Gorden and husband Tony, Jaime Dian Quattlebaum and fiancé Clifton; sons Jason Richard Cech and wife Leslie, Russell Lee Quattlebaum and wife Amanda, James Christopher Quattlebaum; grandchildren Bradley Allen Sharp, Brandi Marie Baldwin, Kaitlin Brooke Gorden, Colton Lee Gorden, Tatum Lynn Gorden, Mackenzie Addison Cech, Casey Daryl Stegall, Kaitlyn Dian Stegall, Dakota Gail Stegall, Jayden Alexis Mire, Julianne Hope Stegall; great grandchild Ethan Allen Sharp; brothers Eddie Lynn Pogue, Jr. and wife Brenda, Ricky Lynn Pogue and wife Annette; mother Betty Jean Pogue; personal friends Jane Black, Larry and Susan McKinley and family, Cindy Birch, Harold Petty.

Pallbearers will be Casey Daryl Stegall, Gary Wilson, Kyle Henson, Eddie Lee Pogue, III, Bradley Sharp and Tony Gorden.

Honorary pallbearers will be William McKinley, Colton Lee Gorden, Jacob Guerrero, Lorence McKinley.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
