Services for James Roy Key , 66, of Eustace, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Zion Hill Church with Bro. Randy Fisher officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Moorehead Melton, Eustace.
He passed away August 16, 2014 in Tyler.
James was born January 29, 1948 in Athens to G.D. Key and Virgie Abbott Key.
James grew up in Eustace, where he attended school. He married his wife Irene on June 10, 1978. James has worked in the electrical field for over 40 years, and is a board member of Zion Hill Church. He enjoyed working, traveling, boating, and working on his tractor. James was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving are Wife, Irene Key of Eustace; son, James Bryant Key of Eustace; grandson, James Avery Key; sister, Vicki & Bob Travis of Carrollton, TX, James Bryant Key, Richard Cravey, Kendal Armstrong, Dallas Walker, Jeff Munns, Bobby Windle, John Kling, Danny Noble, Charles Easley, Jimmy Morton, Jimmy Stegall.
James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny Key.
Pallbearers are James Bryant Key, Richard Cravey, Kendal Armstrong, Dallas Walker, Jeff Munns, Bobby Windle and Honorary Pallbearers are John Kling, Danny Noble, Charles Easley, Jimmy Morton, and Jimmy Stegall.
Family will receive friends Monday 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
