Memorial services for Frances Johnson Gaspar, 71, of Malakoff are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Athens, Texas with Bro. Robert Webb officiating.
Mrs. Gaspar passed away on November 5, 2014 in Dallas, Texas.
Frances Evelyn Drake Johnson Gaspar was born April 19, 1943 in Paris, Texas the daughter of Woodrow Drake and Travis Evelyn Peters Drake. She was a True Crime enthusiast and enjoyed watching it on T.V., as well as QVC. She was an animal lover who supported the Henderson County Humane Society and the Athens SPCA. Granny was a great wife, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by all she knew and loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and her first husband Donald W. Johnson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 10 years Bob Gaspar of Malakoff; her only child, Lisa Johnson Sims and husband Daymon of Malakoff; two grandchildren, Zachary Scott Sims, Baylie Cheyanne Sims; many friends and family.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Zachary Sims, Mitchell Dalrymple, Chris Sides, James Sides, Zachary Price, Mitchell Price, Jackson Baker and Gavin Baker.
