Obituary: Eustace Clark ‘Pete’ Featherston

featherstonpeteServices for Eustace Clark “Pete” Featherston, 85, of Brownsboro are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Brownsboro with Rev. Danny Sandifer officiating. Burial will follow in Jennings Mountain Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.

Mr. Featherston passed away April 22, 2015 in Chandler. He was born June 7, 1929 in Brownsboro to Thomas Alexander and Alice Green Featherston. Pete was a lifelong resident of Brownsboro. He served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Brownsboro. He loved being outdoors mowing his yard, tending to his many animals and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years Mary Boyd Featherston of Brownsboro, daughters Rose Mary Davis and husband Ron, Robin Baker and husband Lane, Holly Dunklin and husband Paul, all of Brownsboro, Audra Newell of Belton, brother Billy Featherston of Brownsboro, sister Martha Willingham and husband Bud of Leagueville, twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation for family and friends will be 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
