A memorial service for Charles Morman, 55, of Athens will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating.
Mr. Morman passed away May 15, 2017 in Tyler, Texas.
Charles Morman was born December 24, 1961 in Athens, Texas the son of Arlan Cone Morman and Katherine Shirey Morman. He was a mechanic and had a passion for Old Hot Rods and loved working on them. He also was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, hunting and fishing. Papa was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife Katherine Tharp Morman of Athens; two children, Sarah Garcia and husband Paul of El Paso, Texas, Dustin Morman and wife Heather of Athens; mother Katherine Shirey Morman of Athens; one brother Brett Morman and wife Katherine Ann and two grandchildren, Diego Garcia and Jazmine Garcia.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
