Funeral services for Chad Tarrant, 26 of LaRue are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with Rev. Eugene Williams and Rev. Olin Boles officiating. Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery.
Chad passed away November 10, 2014 in Kaufman County.
He was born October 15, 1988 in Dallas to Bobby Lane and Elvin Sue Smith Tarrant. Chad was a lifelong resident of LaRue. He graduated LaPoynor High School in 2007. He was a member of LaRue Baptist Church. Chad loved dirt bike racing, motorcycle riding, hunting and fishing. He loved playing pool with his friends and he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Juanita Smith, grandparents Leland and Betty Tarrant, uncles Johnny Eugene Smith, Roy Lee Smith, aunt Annita Blevins.
Survivors include his father and mother Bobby and Sue Tarrant of LaRue; sister Shelina Hartness and husband Mark of Fort Worth; brother Jeffrey Tarrant of LaRue; grandfather Elvis Smith of Kaufman and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Smith, Garrett Wade, Dalton Moore, Samuel Barber, Garrett Barber, Jeramie Nichols.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sean Roberts, Randy Kennedy, Matt Greenwood and Mike Gard.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
