Obituary: Amy Sue Poole

Funeral services for Amy Sue Poole, 47, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler with Rev. Forest Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery under the entrusted and devoted care of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.

Amy was born Aug. 31, 1965 to the late R.B. and Norma Jo Murphy Parmer. She married Roy Allen Poole Feb. 14, 1985.

Amy was a resident of Brownsboro since1969. She had attended Brownsboro High School. Amy loved to decorate and collect quarters, hearts and crosses. Amy had such a wonderful personality that you couldnt help but love her. She also loved people and animals. Amy would do anything for anyone; she was a loving and caring soul. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Amy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Brownsboro.

Preceding Amy in death are her parents, R.B. Parmer and Norma Jo Murphy Parmer.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Allen Poole, Brownsboro; son and daughter-in-law, Murphy and Elizabeth Poole, Chandler; daughter Leah Poole and Fiancee James Ford, both of Brownsboro; her loving grandchildren, Cash Ford, Carter Ford, Brownsboro, and Layla Poole, Chandler; her twin sister, Mary Dunn and her husband, Ken, Dallas and their son, Bradley Dunn, Dallas; sisters, Janice Parmer, Malakoff, Linda Dunn, Dallas; brothers, Ronnie Parmer and his wife Linda, Grand Prairie, Donnie Parmer and his wife, Rhonda, Leagueville, Archie Parmer and his wife Tammy, Midlothian, Gene Parmer and his wife, Flodie, Payne Springs, Glen Parmer and his wife Jeannie, Plano, numerous nieces and nephews,and her special companion dog “Little”.

Pallbearers will be Josh Crim, Joey Pearson, Chad Parmer, Dillon Parmer, Austin Parmer, and Dusty Poole.

Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Harvey, Les Harrell and Scott Gollnik.

Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, (1910 East Tyler Street) Athens, Texas 75751.
