“We are so pleased to congratulate Jimmy Mitchell and his family on being selected 2018 Joe B. Fulgham Agriculturist of the Year,” said Athens Chamber President Marisa Gunstanston.
Participants met at the First United Methodist Church Tuesday morning for complimentary coffee and donuts, courtesy of First State Bank and McDonald’s, before leaving on the three-stop tour.
“Thank you to our tour stops at Eagle’s Nest Preserve, Cleveland Armory Black Beauty Ranch Doris Day Equine Center, and Yates Ranch for welcoming those that attended,” Gunstanston said. “The Athens Chamber loves being a part of Henderson County and celebrating 55 years of the Farm and Ranch Tour in Athens.”
The luncheon featured Texas Railroad Commissioner Wayne Christian as the guest speaker.
