Masonic Youth participate as Mason’s install new officers

The Gun Barrel City Assembly #369 Masonic Youth Rainbow Girls participated in the installation of officers for the Cedar Creek Lake Masonic Lodge #1431 in Gun Barrel City on Saturday, July 14. Tara Trimmins presented the incoming Worshipful Master, John Irvin, with his Bible and a framed miniature lambskin apron. And Samantha Ramos was honored to perform the Gavel Ceremony in presenting the new Worshipful Master with his hand-carved gavel. Tara is a Junior Member of the Grand Executive Committee, and Samantha is Grand Patriotism, Grand Assembly of Texas, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.

Following the Installation Ceremony, a delicious lunch was provided along with a beautifully decorated to commemorate the occasion.

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is a service-oriented, leadership organization for girls between the ages of 11 and 20. Rainbow Girls participate in a wide array of activities, including leadership training, service projects, competitions, and annual retreats. Their younger group, the Pledges, have activities for girls ages 7 to 10.
