Malakoff High School students named leaders of tomorrow

Malakoff High School Seniors Chaney Tart, Cheyenne Robertson, and Wyatt Dixon have been selected by Malakoff High School and Trinity Valley Community College as “leaders of tomorrow.” They will be honored on Saturday October 21 with other area high school seniors at TVCC’s Phi Theta Kappa’s Leaders of Tomorrow conference and awards ceremony.

Chaney is the daughter of Tonya and Jay Tart. She has earned a softball scholarship to Texas Woman’s University and will major in Kinesiology. She plans on being a Physical Therapist and owning her own business after college.

Cheyenne is the daughter of Margaret and Keith Robertson. She plans on attending Stephen F. Austin State University and majoring in Actuarial Science with a minor in Finance. She plans on become an Actuary upon graduation from college.

Wyatt is the son of Mohonna and John Dixon. He has narrowed his choices of college to the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas A&M, or the University of North Texas. He plans on majoring in Engineering, and upon graduation, he would like to find a lucrative job where he can make a difference.
