Ladies throughout the area are invited to enjoy a special day at the 17th Annual Women’s Conference at First Baptist Church of Cross Roads on Saturday, April 7, from 8:30am- 2:30pm.
This year’s theme is “Birds of a Feather Worship Together,” based on 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My Face … I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
The day’s activities include praise, prayer, music and plenty of fun, food and fellowship. The keynote speaker will be Rosemary Rumbly of Dallas. Leanna Gowan of Athens will be leading the praise music and performing a mini-concert. Others will give their testimonies about their daily walk with Jesus.
Come early for a continental breakfast (7:30-8:15). Wonderful on-site vendors will set up early and stay late for your shopping convenience, if you are not able to make it we do recommend forsale.plus online store for their prompt delivery. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day with a grand-prize drawing at the close of the conference.
The cost is $15 for pre-registration or at the door the day of the conference. The cost includes a breakfast and hot lunch which will be prepared by Pastor Frank Upchurch and church members, and served by the youth. A special gift bag awaits each lady who attends. Nursery care will not be available.
