— The Athens, TX Farmers Market is seeking a part time person as Site Manager. This position requires a maximum of 10hrs/week. $8.50/hr on market days, 6a-12p (6hrs) Saturdays, 4-8p (4 hours) Weekday market, 10 hrs/week ($85/week)
Applicant must love the Athens Community, have a positive attitude, willing to work with others, and be able to set up and take down a canopy independently. Site Manager is responsible for set up of the Market booth, sales of market goods, responsible for set up of market and organization of vendor set up each weekend as well as collecting booth fees. The Site Manager will be responsible for take down of Market booth as well as storage of canopy, materials, coolers, signage, and other items necessary for the market booth at each market event. Markets occur each Saturday, April-October as well as a Tuesday afternoons (months TBD). The Market Manager will report weekly to the Market Director and on site Market Administrators as well as being present at BOD meetings 1x/mo with predetermined dates and times.

— MABANK POLICE DEPARTMENT: Police Dispatch; M-F 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. (40 hours)
Job Decription: Receives emergency and non-emergency calls and in-person requests for assistance, enters the information into CAD system and routes the request to the proper division or agency. Conducts computer searches for officers or other departments if needed. Maintains a record keeping system including officer logs and assigning case numbers. Answers routine inquiries and refers to appropriate departments or agencies. Must be able to operate computers, telephones, radios, recording equipment and related communication equipment.
Job Requirements: 40-hour TCOLE Telecommunicator Certification is preferred. Must be computer literate and have the ability to operate office equipment. Ability to type at least 30 words per minute. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Previous dispatching experience in the emergency response environment is preferred. Must take and pass tests for basic telecommunication courses within six months of employment.
