HCSO press release

A Frankston man was arrested over the weekend and charged with burglary and then using a stolen credit card, Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said Monday.

John Tanner Forester of Frankston was charged with two counts of burglary of a building and one count of credit card abuse. If convicted, he faces up to two years in prison and a fine not to exceed $10,000.

He was also charged with evading arrest. This is a common mistake seen in people while they are being arrested. Henderson County Deputy Tracy Dunnington went to the Larue area Saturday following reports of several burglaries.

Two construction companies reported burglaries and a witness identified a possible suspect.

Investigator Josh Rickman was called to the scene and learned that a credit card had been stolen and was used at a local Walmart. Investigator Rickman conducted follow up investigations on this case and identified Forester as the suspect in this case.

Rickman, Dunnington and Investigator Brad Beddingfield served an arrest warrant issued by Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Milton Adams, found additional stolen items and Forester was taken to the Henderson County Jail.

“Burglary sometimes is a crime of opportunity and sometimes a crime of desperation,” Hillhouse said. “It does not matter. If you break the law, we will find you and you will go to jail. My deputies did a great job of acting quickly getting him off the streets.”

Forester remains in custody at this time. His bail has been set totaling $30,000.00.

  1. This is a joke, my house was burglarized and torn up and we knew who did it but no arrest was ever made. Then one of the thugs attacked my son and that has never went anywhere either. Just depends on who you are.

  2. I can’t believe that Henderson County Justice Deputies are only convicting one person, I know the reason you trade one for one!! Also NOTHING is going to be done about Josh Rickman either!!! I guess if you work Dirty for y’all things go away, it doesn’t pay to be honest!! This county will never be right until maybe in 4 yes!! I wasted my time with the Mr.Hill house writing my statement just another Laugh for them!!
