Four arrested on drug, weapons charges

Tuesday, Dec. 1, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Investigators Kendell Wellman and Kay Langford received information that Richard Mitchell was in possession of suspected methamphetamines at his residence in the Wagon Tree subdivision. Investigator Wellman prepared a search warrant affidavit which was presented to Henderson County District 392nd Judge, Carter Tarrance. Judge Tarrance issued a search warrant for the residence.

Mitchell was arrested on drug charges in September and was out on bail thanks to a local bail bond agency, according to Sheriff Ray Nutt.

Wellman, Langford, Sheriff Ray Nutt, Chief Deputy Botie Hillhouse, Captain Charlie Severn, HCSO Investigators Brad Gray, Robert Powers, Cayce Hampton, Josh Rickman, Jeromy Rose, Kyle Pochobradsky, HCSO Patrol Sergeant Bryan Tower, HCSO Deputies Spencer Gray, Meagan Hogan, and Henderson County Constable Precinct 5 Brad Miers executed the search warrant at the residence.

Upon entry, Investigators located four subjects; Richard Mitchell, David Mitchell, Georgia Fain and Tiffany Justice.

Tiffany Justice was found in possession of suspected marijuana. Georgia Fain was found in possession of suspected methamphetamines. David Mitchell was also found in possession of methamphetamines and in possession of firearms. Richard Mitchell was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamines, a large sum of cash, several firearms – two which were stolen, dangerous drugs, marijuana and items used for the packaging and distribution of narcotics. In addition to seizing the narcotics and currency, Investigators seized 20 firearms and a stolen motorcycle.

Tiffany Justice was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under two ounces.

Georgia Fain was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1 under 1 gram.

David Mitchell was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1, under 1 gram and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Richard Mitchell was arrested and charged with Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 over 1 gram under 4 grams, two counts theft of a firearm, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of marijuana under two ounces.

Richard Mitchell was arrested by HCSO Narcotics on Sept. 30, 2015, after the execution of a search warrant at his residence. Mitchell was then found to be in possession of a large amount of suspected methamphetamines and charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance over 4 under 200 grams. Mitchell was released from jail at that time after posting an $8,500 bond.
