Four Arrested Following Drug Search

On Dec. 10, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office narcotic Investigator Kendell Wellman obtained a narcotic search warrant for a residence in the Willowood subdivision in Gun Barrel City after an investigation pertaining to narcotic activity at the residence. The warrant was signed by 173rd District Court Judge Dan Moore.

HCSO Chief Deputy Hillhouse, Captain Bryan Tower, Investigators Gray, Powers, Beddingfield, Wellman, Deputies Wright and Daniels and Gun Barrel City police officers executed the search warrant at the residence.

Once inside the residence officers discovered four subjects inside the home. They were identified as Brian Henry, James Ayscue, Joshua Francis and Angela Kent. Officers located suspected methamphetamines in the possession of Henry, Kent and Ayscue. Henry had warrants for a parole violation and terroristic threats against a public servant. Henry was arrested and additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance over 1 gram under 4 grams. Kent was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine. Kent was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram. Ayscue was wanted by the Eustace Police Department for possession of drug paraphernalia. Ayscue was arrested, found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana. Additionally, Ayscue was charged with possession of a controlled substance over 1 gram under 4 gram and possession of marijuana under two ounces. A fourth person was also located inside the residence, Joshua Francis. Francis was wanted on a pardon and parole warrant and was taken into custody.

All four subjects were transported and booked into the Henderson County jail and are awaiting arraignment.
