1. With the Athens Splash Pad Project approaching an important deadline Friday, a reader asked Henderson County Now about the ongoing costs of the project. So we found out. 

2. While we were answering questions, we also found out about the construction on State Highway 19 south of Athens for a reader. 

3. Malakoff resident Clint Stutts saw a bill he helped write get filed in Austin last week. 

4. The Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce banquet is scheduled for next Monday. You can still get tickets. 

5. The Henderson County Livestock Show starts next Monday. The Review had a neat story about two Cross Roads seniors.
