Funeral services for Darla Holleman, 51, of Athens are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens with Pastor Chuck Hinton and Sister Sandy Hinton officiating.
She passed away Monday May 6, 2013 in Athens.
Darla Elaine Holleman was born Oct. 27, 1961 in Sweetwater, Texas, the daughter of Alfred Lee Holleman and Linda Elaine DuPont Grimes. She was a member of the Athens Church of God and sang gospel music. Darla had a love for writing poetry and photography. She especially loved her children, grandchildren, and her dogs, Roxie, Gracie and Mr. Whisper. Darla was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

— Crystall and Mike Hale run a stall at the little flea market next to Sonic in Seven Points. We are the last row by Sonic and have a big brown round table out in front of the stall and we have all kinds of stuff for sale. We have two very nice dressers for sale: one is $150 and the other is $100. We have a twin size bunk bed on top with desk on bottom plus an office chair to go with it: asking $150 for it.
