Obituary: Amy Sue Poole

Funeral services for Amy Sue Poole, 47, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler with Rev. Forest Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery under the entrusted and devoted care of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.

Amy was born Aug. 31, 1965 to the late R.B. and Norma Jo Murphy Parmer. She married Roy Allen Poole Feb. 14, 1985.

Amy was a resident of Brownsboro since1969. She had attended Brownsboro High School. Amy loved to decorate and collect quarters, hearts and crosses. Amy had such a wonderful personality that you couldnt help but love her. She also loved people and animals. Amy would do anything for anyone; she was a loving and caring soul. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Amy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Brownsboro.

The Cavanaugh Flight Museum P-51 Mustang, The Brat III, is even more special as it is an actual combat veteran! That’s right, the airplane you are sitting in for the ride actually saw combat over 70 years ago.

P-51 rides will be available at Tyler Pounds Airport this Friday July 5 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday July 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. before the airshow.
