Atmos Energy and The Help Center Join Forces To Help Residents Pay Natural Gas Bills

JpegPress release

ATHENS – Atmos Energy is teaming up with The Henderson County Help Center, a local nonprofit located in Henderson County, to provide available energy assistance funds to residents in need. These funds provide financial assistance with natural gas utility bills through Atmos Energy’s ‘Sharing the Warmth’ program for qualified customers living in Henderson, as well as surrounding counties, including Anderson and Van Zandt.

“Atmos Energy is proud to partner with The Help Center to help customers pay their natural gas bills this winter. We encourage qualified customers to contact The Help Center today to take advantage of our Sharing the Warmth program.”, said Amy Williams, Atmos Energy’s Manager of Public Affairs.

Atmos Energy’s Sharing the Warmth program is made possible through donations from our employees, contributions of our shareholders and matching funds in many of the communities we serve.

Additionally, Atmos Energy customers can also contribute to this program on their monthly bill to help their neighbor in need. Even a small contribution can mean a lot; $1 a month, $5, $10, $20, or you can “round up” your Atmos Energy payment to the next highest dollar amount.
